In only seven short weeks Virginia voters will go to the polls and select State Senators and Delegates. This is an especially critical election because currently both houses are evenly divided Republican and Democratic resulting in grid lock with very little results.

Bill Fleming is a PhD physicist who worked at the National Institutes of Health and IBM Almaden Research Lab in California. While in California he was a Cub Master, sports coach, and member of the Saratoga Education Foundation. He returned to Virginia to become Vice President at MILCOM Systems Corporation, a company started by his Scottish immigrant father. More recently, he has a small technology business and raises oysters on a lease on the Lynnhaven River. He is active in a wide range of environmental groups and has helped with a range of political campaigns since 2008.
