In only seven short weeks Virginia voters will go to the polls and select State Senators and Delegates. This is an especially critical election because currently both houses are evenly divided Republican and Democratic resulting in grid lock with very little results.
Please vote to reelect State Senator John Edwards in November.

During the recent session of the General Assembly, I worked to create 21st-Century jobs for our region. I sponsored legislation to help Virginia's start-ups, continued my work to bring Amtrack to our region, and fought for more funds for our public schools, colleges and universities to ensure our students receive the best education to prepare them for jobs of the future. I have continued to fight for these issues, and more, so that the quality of life - and opportunities - in our area will be second to none.
