This past weekend I attended the Second Annual Rural Retreat conducted by the Rural Caucus of the Democratic Party of Virginia. This was a very informative, and energizing weekend in Staunton, VA Friday, August 21 – Sunday, August 23. More on that in another diary.
After a lovely breakfast Saturday morning I was introduced to Hon. Nancy Rodrigues* who serves as the Secretary of Administration for Governor Terry McAuliffe. She later conducted the first seminar workshop on the latest guidelines on Voter ID and Registration in the Commonwealth.
Near the end of allotted time she shifted focus and brought up a project I was unaware of - The Virginia Women's Monument.
